Just got back to Regina from winnipeg. I gotta say. Winnipeg is surprisingly lovely city. A fair amount to do, close to some beautiful camp grounds, very friendly people, and decent traffic. The only thing that I couldn't believe is how bad the drivers are. Holy crap, I thought saskatchewan sucks at driving. Every 2 minutes someone ran a red light (including a garbage truck), almost hit a pedestrian, slam on the brakes in the fast lane for no particular reason, drive 30 under the speed limit, stop in the middle of a merging lane, etc. That's my only real complaint about the city. I enjoyed the forks, the zoo, the parks, walking along the river. Definitely will come back.

what a crock...all winnipeg offers is murder, violence, poverty and despair. It's a hateful city full of hateful policies designed by hateful people. I hate Winnipeg. It is EVIL.

Winnipegger here. This video is complete BS. Winnipeg is a really boring city. Most immigrants are shown videos like this to get them to move to Winnipeg, then they're really disappointed when they get here. They show pictures and videos of The Forks and the Human Rights Museum, pretty much like this video is doing, then they come here and see the rest of the city doesn't look like that and there's nothing to do here.
